Steve grew up in a devout Catholic family in central Ohio with four siblings before relocating to Savannah, Georgia, during high school. After an initial career in retail, he answered the call to ministry, studying at USC Spartanburg and earning his Master of Divinity from Emory University's Candler School of Theology.

Steve and his wife, Laura, have been married for over 45 years. They have three sons: Paul (Allison), parents to granddaughters Savannah and Abigail; Andrew, a U.S. Navy sailor stationed in San Diego; and Phillip (Erika), residing in Houston.

Following a career in retail, Steve transitioned into ministry, serving churches in Gray Court, Laurens, Johnston, Clinton, and Greenwood over 25 years. He retired from full-time ministry in 2025 and now serves as the Associate Pastor at Reidville Road Church, where he pursues his passions for teaching, mission work, and evangelism.

Jan was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, into a loving and faith-driven family. They all had the love of the outdoors and spent one weekend a month camping on either the Suwannee or St. John’s River and their two-week vacations, each year, were on their boat traveling from St. Petersburg to Naples, across Lake Okeechobee, down the east coast to the Keys and back north to home. They were also a very musical family. A GREAT childhood. She is married to Tony – an Irishman – who she met on-line (a pen-pal site) in hopes to one day go to Ireland…and she did! Jan has 1 daughter and 2 grandsons. Tony has 3 children and 7 grandchildren in Ireland.

Jan went to college in Tampa with a certificate in Public Relations/Travel. She worked for AAA Travel, Harcourt Brace School Publishers, Disney World and BMW. She believes that love, empathy, understanding, compassion and respect are what keeps her world balanced. Her favorite Bible verse: ……whatever is true, noble, right pure, lovely, admirable – "if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think on such things." (Philippians 4:8)

Lisa Brinkman was born and raised in north-central Alabama and has an Early Childhood Education degree from the University of North Alabama. Lisa’s entire career has centered around teaching and working with children and youth. She believes that investing in our children and youth by teaching them about Jesus is one of the greatest callings. One of Lisa’s favorite Bible verses are “Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it. And he (Jesus) took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.” (Mark 10:15-16).

Lisa became a Christian at a young age so being involved in church has been a huge part of her life. She and her husband Kyle became active members of RRC shortly after moving to the Upstate of South Carolina in 2019. They have one adult daughter, Emily, who lives in the Destin, Florida area. 

Denise has been involved in church music since she was in high school and has a gift that allows her to lead a congregation into God's presence.

Denise has been a vital part of RRC since 2013 and, yes, she is Pastor Danny's wife. 

Loyd has been directing handbells since 1984. She was the handbell director at St. Paul UMC and Trinity UMC before coming to Reidville Road. She also directed the children’s choir at St. Paul. Loyd Dennis has been the Handbell Director at RRC since 1998. She also sings in the adult choir. Her husband and daughter also play the handbells.

Loyd has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education with a minor in music from Converse College. She has a Master's degree in Technology in Education from Leslie University.

Loyd is from North Carolina originally but has been in South Carolina since 1976. When Loyd is not at church she likes to sew, do crafts, camp, and read.
